Hey there!

Welcome to Tales of A Bibliophile, a blog about books, life, and everything in-between. I’m Kacey, the person behind Tales of A Bibliophile. I live in Seattle, but I’m originally from Michigan. I moved out to Seattle four years ago to attend graduate school and never left. Simply because the Pacific Northwest is the best place to live.

I have been an avid reader my entire life. As a child I devoured anything Nancy Drew and Encyclopedia Brown. As I got older, it was Harry Potter everything. Now I read across all genres.

In the last few years it’s been hard for me to keep up with the comings and goings of the book world because college, then graduate school, then post grad life where you’re just walking around aimlessly trying to figure out how to “adult.” So, I’ve decided to begin this journey to help me stay on track with my reading and to better connect to the broader book community. Plus, if I’m being honest the academic in me has missed writing.

Most of the time I will be posting about upcoming books I’m excited about, book reviews, and other book goodies. But I also want to post bits of my life so you can get to know me better.  So, occasionally expect some recipes I’ve been loving, or my favorite places around Seattle, or just general life updates. Also expect photos of my cat, Adelle, because like all pet owners I believe she is the funniest, sassiest, and coolest cat there is.
